A Research for Tracing Jewish Family History
Nan Barnes
We recently encountered a web resource that will prove valuable if you are researching Jewish family history. Tracing the Tribe: The Jewish Genealogy Blog is an award winning site maintained by blogger Schelly Taladay Dardashti, a past president of the Jewish Family History Research Association. She also posts on the My Heritage Genealogy Blog. In both locations she provides news of developments in genealogy, tools and resources to assist people in researching their family trees.
In her most recent post on Tracing the Tribe, Ms. Dardashti poses a question we often encourage people thinking about creating a memoir or family history to consider, “If you don’t write the history of your family, who will?” If you decide to take on the challenge, her blog is a useful resource.
